Information

TitleCannot manually set the channel width unless we also set a static channel
Symptoms
  • Cannot manually set the channel width unless we also set a static channel
  • Static Channel Selection moves the width to auto and it's not selectable
Environment
  • ExtremeWireless
  • Version 10.41.01
  • OBSS
  • Channel Width
Cause
This was a new feature which we asked Engineering to alter so it can now do auto or you can select 20 MHz channel width.
Resolution
  • Version 10.41.01.0082 now allows you to select either auto or 20 MHZ channel width with the auto channel selected.
  • Release Note: wns0019430 - Addressed issue after an upgrade where if auto channel selection is used, it would re-request a new channel and channel width. The expected behavior has been corrected to preserve previous channel and channel width. Also adjusted UI logic when channel is set to ‘Auto’ to only allow channel widths of ‘Auto’ or ‘20MHz’.
