Symptoms
Polish characters ł,ż,ó do not work when entered in as username in captive portal
Error like below occur

 ERROR [NacCaptivePortalMainAction] Failed to register user: Å»módXX-XXXXÅ‚aw-14:AB:C5:0E:A6:B4 and device MAC: XX-XX-C5-0E-XX-XX, IP: 192.168.5.65, with error: (7): Error adding registered user: Å»módXX-XXXXÅ‚aw-XX-XX-C5-0E-XX-XX

NAC
Access Control
Extreme Management Center
Cause
UTF-8 Formatting is not automatically configured.
Resolution
Either upgrade to 8.04.xx version of Extreme Management Center and Extreme Access Control appliances, or configure the following in prior versions.

From Extreme Management Center 
Administration->Options->Access Control->Advanced->Convert Registration Tables to UTF-8
Check box and save.
