Symptoms
AP3935 ExtremeCloud Access Points are showing a RED not connected status in the Cloud Webpage.
Environment
  • ExtremeCloud Access Point AP3935
  • Cloud firmware 3.11.04
Cause
The end network subnet and VLAN was changed after the new Cloud firmware was deployed, but certain APs did not receive the updated local DNS information.
Resolution
Perform a Factory Default by one of the following methods:
  • Press the Reset button on the AP3935 for 5-10 seconds.
  • Connect to the AP console port, log into the Access Point, and issue the factory default reset command.
  • If the Access Point is getting a local IP address, SSH to the Access Point and issue the factory reset command.
