Symptoms
Dell Latitude 3330, with Network Card: Dell Wireless 1504 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz), has problems connecting to an AP3705 with 9.21.13 firmware.
Environment
  • ExtremeWireless appliances
  • AP3705
  • firmware 9.21.13
Cause
  • First review showed Radio settings that could be maximized.
  • Older NIC may require the AP3705 to run with fewer Advanced settings enabled.
Resolution
  • Radio settings have been deployed.
    • ​DTIM = 2
    • G-protection Mode = Always
    • G-protection type = RTS-CTS
    • N-protection mode = Always
    • N-protection type = RTS-CTS
    • A-MPDU = Enabled
    • Aggregate MPDU Max Frames = 32
    • ADDBA = Enabled
  • Upgrade to 9.21.15.
