Symptoms
Goal:

To configure and troubleshoot why a HiveManager Classic instance is not sending emails.
 
Environment
Any HiveManager Classic instance (On-Premise or Online) Version 8.2rX
 
Cause
Resolution
Context:
As of HiveManager Classic version 8.2rX, no longer supports un-encrypted SMTP delivery of emails.

In the HiveManager Classic email settings (Home Tab > HiveManager Services > Email Service Settings) options of Encryption and Authentication must be enabled and filled out.

The original required fields of SMTP Server, SMTP Server Port, From Email, and To Email1 fields still need to be filled out.
