Symptoms

  • Unable to open the provided link. I am asked for a windows login.
  • Cannot load this article because I don't have a Microsoft Account to log in.
  • Got a microsoftonline sign in request then was denied by Active Directory error message "Microsoft - Sign in - Sorry, but we're having trouble signing you in. - AADSTS50020:...".
  • Got an "Extreme - Pick an account" solicitation which results in error message "Selected user account does not exist...".

Cause
A Knowledgebase Article URL/link of the format "https://extreme-networks--c.na101.visual.force.com/apex/KCS_SOL_Internal?..." will by design properly function only for employees logged into the Extreme Networks corporate domain.
Resolution
Please ask the person who conveyed you the link to instead provide you with an equivalent link useable in the public domain.
