Symptoms
Summit X770 switches running EXOS 22.1.1 code tree with SNTP enabled show frequent recurrence of the following log message:

<Noti:DM.Notice> Setting hwclock time to system time, and broadcasting time
Environment
  • Summit X770
  • EXOS 22.1.1
Cause
Due to some code changes in the 22.1.1 tree, Summit X770 switch time drifts.  This will be fixed on CR xos0067667.
Resolution
 This will be fixed on CR xos0067667.

If desired, the log messages can be excluded from the logs with a log filter.  Instructions on configuring log filters can be found here.
Additional notes
The Summit X770 platform is currently the only platform exposed to this CR.
