  • Critical-resource monitor 
Cause
Resolution
1. Configure critical resource on AP profile
profile ap8432 default-ap8432
critical-resource monitor interval 15
critical-resource word monitor direct any 172.16.100.1
critical-resource retry-count 3
exit

2. Configure to shutdown on critical resource down on WLAN
wlan avc-5G
 ssid avc-5G
 vlan 10
 bridging-mode local
 encryption-type ccmp
 authentication-type none
 wpa-wpa2 psk 0 password
 shutdown on-critical-resource CRITICAL

Verify the critical resource is properly configured by using the command:
show critical-resources

Sample output:
ap8432-AP1#show critical-resources 
Critical Resource Monitor interval: 15
Critical Resource Monitor using flows interval: 30
Critical Resource Monitor DOWN retry count: 3
Source IP for port-limited CRM: 0.0.0.0

Additional notes
  • Ensure that the changes are applied once a maintenance window is available, as if you choose an incorrect default gateway this might cause service disruption.
