  • Large amount of pause frames seen on switches
  • Packet loss on Network
Environment
  • Intel driver on the i217-LM NIC
  • S-Series
  • Securestack
  • K-Series
  • B5-Series
  • C5-Series
  • 7100-Series
  • All Firmware versions
Cause
Flooding out IPv6 listening packets
Resolution
  • Upgrade i217-LM NIC to latest drivers
  • Workaround - Block IPv6 packets on all switches involved
