TitleIGMP report packets are not processed when received on VMAN CEP port.
Symptoms
Following topology and configuration are used:
SW1 <-> [port1:1](EXOS)[port1:2] <-> SW2
configure vlan default delete ports all
enable jumbo-frame ports all
create vman "test-vman"
configure vman test-vman tag 100
enable vman cep egress filtering ports 1:3
configure vman test-vman add ports 1:1 tagged
configure vman test-vman add ports 1:2 cep cvid 111
disable igmp vlan "test-vman"
configure igmp snooping vlan "test-vman" ports 1:3 add static group 232.1.1.85
If send IGMP report packet from the SW2 and check on EXOS switch "show igmp group", group will not be learned.

  • EXOS 16.1.4.2
  • All EXOS platforms
  • IGMP
Cause
The root cause of the issue is a software defect xos0063532.
Resolution
Upgrade to one of following or newer releases:
  • 16.1.4.2.-patch1-7
  • 16.2.1.6
  • 16.2.2.4
