  • IdentiFi wireless controller does not appear to boot.
  • With a VGA monitor attached, the boot process appears to halt after displaying the following:
GRUB loading, please wait...
Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel.
Environment
  • IndentiFi Wireless
  • C25, C4110, C5110, C5210
  • All firmware versions
Cause
  • VGA monitor displays nothing after initial bootup
  • Management of Wireless Controller is not supported through VGA monitor port
Resolution
Use the appropriate console adapter for management rather than through VGA monitor with the following COM settings:
  • Baud Rate = 115,200
  • Data bits = 8
  • Stop bits = 1
  • Parity = none
  • Flow control = none
