Mib-tools does not show mib

TitleMib-tools does not show mib
Symptoms
Launching mib-tools works but you cannot connect to a device and the mib cannot be expanded.
In the status bar you see the following error in red:
The OID passed to jcAddReq could not be parsed
 
Environment
  • Oneview
  • Mib-tools
Cause
When you never used mib-tools from the thick client, the mibs are not downloaded to your PC when starting mib-tools.
Resolution
Start the legacy console from Extreme Management and from there start mib tools under the tools menu. Now the mibs are downloaded and from now on you can use Mib-Tools also from OneView.
