Information

TitleNAC, Wireless Appliance - group of wireless device unable to authenticate
Symptoms
  • Some client end devices are having trouble connecting to the Wireless network.
  • Silax EKG wireless devices have issues connecting using 802.1x WPA.
Environment
  • ExtremeWireless
  • AP3825
  • firmware 9.21.11
Cause
It appears the end devices are either having trouble with the authentication process, the association process, or the reply from the network RADIUS servers.
Resolution
  • For the time, these devices will connect with a WEP passkey, and a separate SSID has been created for these alone.
  • In the future, please grab any AP trace log and Wireless appliance Tech Support file and escalate to the GTAC Wireless Group.
