TitleNAS-IP is showing all zeros sent from the controller
Symptoms
RADIUS Account packets and RADIUS request packets coming in from the controller have an all zero IP address (0.0.0.0).
Environment
  • All IdentiFi Controllers
  • All Firmware Revisions
  • RADIUS
  • NAS-IP
Cause
0.0.0.0 will be sent if there is no layer 3 IP address assigned to the Virtual Network Service. By default "Use VNS IP address" is selected.
Resolution
  1. Log in to the Wireless Appliance Management GUI https://<ip of controller>:5825
  2. Go to the WLAN-Service, Auth & Acct tab, highlight the RADIUS server and click on "Configure"
  3. Enter in the desired IP address in the NAS-IP
