Symptoms
  • NMS dashboard report in OneView would open and display information.
  • Error message also was displayed:  Could not load report
Environment
  • NetSight
  • OneView
  • Version 6.x
Cause
The report was modified to remove information that was not needed and replaced with other information that was thought useful.  Purview reports were used in place of some of the reports that were removed but Purview was not deployed.   OneView errors out on those reports.
Resolution
Resolution for 6.x Netsight
1.  Start OneView and change to the Administration tab.
2.  Select Report Designer.
3.  Select the NMS Dashboard report.
4.  Change the Purview components to 'Blank Panel' or delete the cell.
5.  Click the Save button.

Resolution for 7.x Extreme Management Center

1. Start Extreme Management Center and Click on Reports
2. Click on Report Designer
3. Select System Reports -> Network Overview
4.  Change the Purview components to 'Blank Panel' or delete the cell.
5.  Click the Save button.
 
Additional notes
  • Report Designer is not available in NMS-Base setup.
  • Please upgrade NMS or NMS-ADV to get full features.
