TitleNSiGHT - Packet Capture on AP not working and generating
When preforming a Packet Capture in NSiGHT in one of the remote APs domain, the NSiGHT server is showing a "Communication Error" message. 
  • All Summit WM3000 Series Controllers
  • ExtremeWiNG Controllers

  • ExtremeWiNG Access Points
  • WirelessWiNG Acess Points
  • WiNG v5.X Software
  • NSiGHT
The firewall between devices is blocking the communication.
  • Enable the flow both ways on the firewall for port 443, this will allow the NSiGHT communicate with the device trying to execute the Packet Capture. 
  • If the firewall is sitting between the NSiGHT server acting as Standalone, and the adopting controller, the same flow above needs to be enabled between them, as the request is going through the adopting controller.
