Symptoms
A MEM_FAIL interrupt, MEM_FAIL_INT_STAT, and/or MEM_FAIL condition is fatal error is seen in the debug message log, for example:

Cause
Known firmware issue
Resolution
  • Review release notes for matching MEM_FAIL_INT_STAT reset condition
  • Upgrade S130/S150/S155 Class hardware to 08.11.04.xx or higher
  • Upgrade S140/S180 Class hardware to 08.22.02.xx or higher
  • All MEM_FAIL fixes in 08.11.03.xx and 08.11.04.xx firmware for the S130/S150/S155 hardware class have been implemented in the S140/S180 hardware class firmware image 08.22.02.xx
  • Additional MEM_FAIL fix in 8.32.01.0021
