Symptoms
  • Switch fails to boot 
  • SecureStack switch constantly reboots in a loop condition
  • VT100 Terminal session prints messages similar to the following:

Resolution
  1. Reset configuration to factory defaults: How to reset SecureStack configuration to factory defaults via boot menu. If problem persists, then go to step 2.
  2. Upgrade the switch via boot menu: How to upgrade "SecureStack" switches via serial COM port?. If the device still fails to boot, then go to step 3.
