Advanced Router or policy License key is not on unit being installed, but is installed on existing unit(s)
Resolution
  • Verify license status on stack with command show license
  • If license is not present on unit being installed, insert a license key as follows:
set license advrouter "<LICENSE_KEY>" unit <unit#>
  • In the case of the C3-Series, insert the license key as follows:
set license INCREMENT advrouter 2008.0212 permanent DF6A8558E5AB 012345678910E

Additional notes
  • Each switch in the stack must have it's own unique advanced routing license key.
  • The key cannot be shared among different switches, even in the same stack.
