Environment
Securestack
Cause
the CIST is being disabled because a port has gone down and come up again causing spanning tree to negotiate with the switch connected on the bouncing port. The Securestack defaults to using a configuration digest of its own MAC address if Multiple Spanning Tree is not configured and this will not match the Config-digest on the connected switch, thus they will negotiate to using Rapid Spanning tree and disable the CIST.
