Environment
  • IdentiFi Wireless
  • Virtual Network Interface Card Removed / Deleted
  • All software versions
Cause
Wireless software kernel references the unused NICs and are necessary for operation, even when not in use or linked up
Resolution
  • Re-add the Network Interfaces under the Wireless Virtual Machine (with it powered down).
  • If the first NIC (Admin port) was removed and re-added, either license rehosting will need to be done, or you will need to change the Admin NIC to manual mac address mode and enter the original MAC address back in, adding back license keys after
