Symptoms
After the OSPF neighborship flap, the VPLS configured between the peers are stuck in signaling state
Environment
Summit and Blackdiamond Series
EXOS 16.1.3.6 patch 1-4
Cause
In a diamond shaped topology like below, after couple of link flaps of the link between left and bottom switch, the OSPF learned routes are not present in the kernel database of the bottom switch. All the switches are running OSPF and MPLS.

Since the OSPF routes are not present in the hardware, the VPLS is stuck in Sgnl state.
This is identified as a software bug.
Resolution
CR xos0065830 has been created to fix this problem in future SW releases. Fix development is in progress.
Refer release notes of the newer version to know if it is fixed in that particular version.
