Check cluster status for out of sync condition by issuing the "show cluster members" command:
L3L_K2_U41_WM1#show cluster members
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     HOSTNAME       MEMBER-ID           MAC          MASTER OPERATIONAL-STATE    LAST-SEEN
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  L3L_K2_U40_WM2   46.42.21.A6   00-04-96-42-21-A6   False   active            00:01:01 ago
  L3L_K2_U41_WM1   46.42.21.4E   00-04-96-42-21-4E   True    standby           self

Here the standby node is acting as master.
