TitleWS-AP3610 previously converted to sensor not responding to usual passwords - cannot be converted back to AP
Symptoms
No combination of user / password is accepted, AP is in sensor mode and works as such, but cannot be converted to AP.
Environment
WS-AP3610
Sensor mode APs
Converting from Sensor to AP
Cause

After the conversion to sensor, the password should be config for the user config, not the usual admin / new2day username / password combination.

In some cases, the password can be altered by the user or not taken in the sensor mode, and there is no backdoor per engineering to clear it to defaults when in this state, since a step to convert from sensor to AP requires the access to the console there is no way of clearing it or converting to AP mode.

I the boot of these aps a message of a shadow file not found is seen.
Resolution
No resolution found yet - replace according to entitlements
Additional notes
To restore AP to thin client:
1.  Locate Sensor in AP -> Bulk Configuration -> Access Approval.
2.  Select AP and hit "Approve as Local/Foreign"

OR

Put AP on new controller and it will automatically convert to a thin client.
