Titlenetlogin client cannot access the base URL in ISP mode
Symptoms
In ISP mode, if all netlogin enabled ports are already part of another vlan, then the netlogin client is unable to access base or external URL and an ICMP destination unreachable message is generated by the switch for DNS queries.
Environment
  • Summit switch
  • EXOS 16.2.2
Cause
This is the software issue on EXOS.

Additional notes
Workaroud:
If a netlogin enabled port is removed from the other vlan(vlan v2 as per config), it automatically gets associated with netlogin vlan and the problem gets resolved.
