- Check the local Firewall runs on the machine running the browser.
- There have been multiple instances where an anti-virus utility, such as ESET will be updated and see the 8443 port as a threat and block traffic. This causes a user to log into the web interface, and then immediately get logged out with a 'client timeout. error.
- In the instances we have seen, uninstalling ESET (and restarting the computer) resolved the issue immediately.
- Long term first is to modify the firewall/anti-virus settings to allow the 8443 traffic.
